This page explains what Arrafund receives through Plaid, how to stop access, and how to request deletion.
Arrafund requests the Transactions product to monitor accounts you select for eligible purchases and calculate rewards for your friends. We may receive institution and account details, masked account identifiers, and transaction merchant, description, date, amount, currency, pending status, and category information. Arrafund does not receive or store your online-banking username or password and does not use this data for credit decisions or advertising.
Arrafund calls Plaid to remove the connection, deletes its stored Plaid access token, Item, accounts, and imported transactions, and deletes Plaid-derived receipt-review records. Pending rewards that are not already part of a required accounting process are cancelled. Merchant, account, receipt, and Plaid identifiers are removed from minimal retained reward records.
You can also manage connections through Plaid Portal or your financial institution. Arrafund processes Plaid revocation notifications and deletes the affected Item or account data.
Email privacy@arrafund.com from the email address on your Arrafund account and include your username. We verify account ownership and complete eligible Plaid-data deletion requests within 30 days.
Minimal reward and payment ledger records may be retained for up to seven years when needed to complete a reward or meet fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, or accounting obligations. Arrafund removes merchant, account, receipt, and Plaid identifiers from those records and reviews them for disposal when the period expires. We will explain any legal exception that affects your request.
Contact privacy@arrafund.com for access, correction, portability, or deletion requests involving Plaid-derived data.
